POWER PYRAMID DOWN TUBE

Cannondale's proprietary PowerPyramid down tube tapers from the head tube to the bottom bracket. Thicker tube walls are used at the head tube for impact resistance and lateral stiffness, while an oversized tube diameter with thinner walls are used at the bottom bracket for resistance to the twisting torsional forces of pedaling.

STAGE-WINNING FRAME DESIGN
