ENVE 6.7 Wheelset
The flow of an aero wheel changes the second you put it in a bike. Few of the current wheel manufacturers test that air disturbance very specifically to the point of a specific brand's offerings. Zipp for example has done much of it's development with Cervelo, HED worked exclusively with Trek for many years. In ENVE's latest wheelset, designers wanted to widen the test bed to encompass more of the bike models on the market. One example of how ENVE is accomplishing this is by testing two very different TT bikes, the Cervelo P3 and Trek Speed Concept as well as two very different road bikes, the Cannondale SuperSix and Specialized Tarmac. The P3 and Speed Concept were a great choice as there already is a large amount of comparative data. With ENVE's hiring of aero specialist Simon Smart, they also got his Scott Addict based development rig in which ENVE can include a mannequin to recreate surface area conditions that an actual rider creates in a bike.
