Description
If Kona is on the schedule, the Slice is the obvious choice. Race-proven geometry puts riders in a lower position and the improved laminar flow helps shed drag and shave minutes from personal best times.
S.A.V.E. YOUR ENERGY
S.A.V.E. chain stay technology and a moderate bend in the seat stays provide sophisticated vibration damping. It enhances ride comfort, but most importantly keeps triathletes fresh for the long road ahead. Save your energy for the run.
CHEAT THE WIND
HI-MOD, full carbon lay-up allows Cannondale's designers to craft wind-cheating tube shapes. Distinctive, bladed tubes feature optimal laminar airflow, reducing drag.
OPTIMAL BODY POSITION
Most aerodynamic drag is created by the rider, not the bike. That's why Cannondale uses size-specific head tubes and top tubes for each frame size of the Slice, putting riders in the most aerodynamic position possible.
HI-MOD = HIGH SPEED
The uni-directional full carbon fiber frame is constructed of HI-MODulus fibers for the best performance available to triathletes and time trialists. In short, it blends high performance with optimized comfort using Cannondale's proprietary lay-up technologies.
SHAPED TOP TUBE
The bladder-molded top tube uses internal cable routing. This design, plus the narrow cross section, allows proper knee positioning for riders seeking the sleekest aero position possible.
SPEED SHADOW SEAT TUBE
The one-piece bladder-molded seat tube is co-cured to the bottom bracket/chain stay assembly for high strength and optimized design. No brake bridge further reduces laminar drag over the rear of the frame and rear wheel.
