The Sub-9 Disk may be THE aerodynamic breakthrough of '08. According to Zipp, the Sub 9's "radical edge bulge design, captures air flow and gives a -80g drag reading at 15 degrees of yaw (dead center of the aerodynamic sweet spot), adding a 12 watts saving to power requirements." 

New for '08:   
-Bulge design controls the airflow as it comes off the tire, reducing turbulence and improving aerodynamic efficiency.
-Carbon Bridge: Kevlar thread in a co-axial helix stitch improve rim strength by distributing impact force. According to Zipp, the Carbon Bridge results in "28% more impact resistance than any other rim made at this weight".
