Designed for the critical moment when a sprinter explodes out of the saddle or a climber makes the decisive attack, the SLC2 is a super-stiff handlebar that will not flex under the pressure. Zipp built the SLC2 with 60% of the bar width at the same 31.8mm diameter as the stem clamp, then included strategic strengthening plies in order to handle clamp pressure of bolted on extensions, plus stiffening plies oriented specifically to handle sprinting loads. If you are a crit racer, track racer, or simply a weekend warrior that just loves to lay-down vicious attacks the SLC2 will deliver the ultimate in precision and responsiveness!
