Product Overview
Only a small step down from the LTD, Scott's CR1 Plasma Pro has nearly every race winning feature of the LTD at a lower price. It is the same frame shape as the LTD model using the latest in aero technology to slice through the wind and deliver world class ride quality. Features include:
- CR1 High Modulus Carbon (HMC) Frame and CR1 Pro Carbon Fork: This material allows Scott to use minimal material and achieve excellent performance. More material is added in high stress areas and less material in areas designed to flex when dampening road vibration. The result: a lightweight frame with outstanding ride qualities. Scott also uses "TRUAERO" strategically placed tube faring to ensure the bike cuts through the wind with ease.
- Rear Wheel Cutout: Creates a smooth air transition from the frame to the spinning wheel, thus reducing drag.
- Integrated Seatpost: Creates a clean look and aero-efficient upper wing.
- Internal Cable Routing: Designed to smooth air flow across the frame.  
- SDS (Shock Damping System) Rear Stays: Designed to dampen road vibration and reduce fatigue.
- Component Package: The Plasma Pro wheels and components are designed for racing and training. They will last through the many training miles and also excel in competition. For a "pure racing" set-up, please call Nytro for upgrades.

Plasma Pro vs Plasma LTD
- The Plasma LTD utilizes Scott's top-tier HMX carbon composite technology. Less HMX carbon is required in order achieve the same performance in stiffness and durability. The result - a lighter frame.
- The Plasma LTD complete bike features higher grade components (full Shimano Dura-Ace) and wheels (Zipp) for weight savings and better performance.
