Product Overview
Scott's CR1 Plasma LTD is a clean looking aero machine, utilizing the latest in frame design and aggressive geometry to both slice through the wind and deliver a world class ride. Features include:
- CR1 HMX Carbon Frame and Team Issue Fork: The super high quality HMX carbon allows Scott to use minimal material and achieve outstanding performance in both stiffness and durability. More material is added in high stress areas and less material is used in areas designed to flex when absorbing road vibration. The result: a superlight frame with outstanding ride qualities. Scott also uses "TRUAERO" strategically placed tube faring to ensure the bike cuts through the wind with ease.
- Rear Wheel Cutout: Creates a smooth air transition from the frame to the spinning wheel, thus reducing drag.
- Integrated Seatpost: Creates a clean look and aero-efficient upper wing.
- Internal Cable Routing: Designed to smooth air flow across the frame.
- SDS (Shock Damping System) Rear Stays: Designed to dampen road vibration and reduce fatigue.
- Component Package: The LTD wheels and components are designed for racing. This complete bike is ready for world class competition right out of the box.
