Product Overview
The Pinarello FT1 is just a small step down from the Montello frame. It features many of the same wind cheating curves and similar aggressive geometry for a much lower price. This bike is perfect for the competitive cyclist looking for an Italian rocket that will both endure miles of training and perform in the local races. Features include:
- Pinarello Aerodynamic 30HM12K Monocoque Carbon Frame and Fork: Pinarello uses a durable carbon weave that both keeps the weight low and provides a solid frame that will endure many miles of riding.
- Internal cable routing: Designed to ensure smooth air flow across the frame.
- Rear Wheel Cutout: Creates a smooth air transition from the frame to the spinning wheel, thus reducing drag (even without an aero wheel).
- Semi-Integrated Air Foil Shaped Seatpost: Designed for optimal laminar flow as air exits beneath the rider.
- Component Package: The FT1 wheels and components are designed for training and racing. Please call Nytro if you prefer a �pure race� set-up.

FT1 vs Montello FP8
- The FP8 uses a higher quality carbon (50HM1K). This material allows Pinarello to uses less carbon and still achieve superior stiffness. Ultimately, the FP8 weight less and performs better.
- The FP8 employs more aggressive aerodynamics (ie: deeper rear wheel cut-out).

Test Review
- The 30HM12K carbon performs on par with many competitors� top end bikes. The drive train area stiffness is very good and the ride comfort is incredible (a very important feature during a long race).
