2008 Mavic R-SYS Wheelset

Product Overview
The R-SYS wheelset is constructed of carbon spokes and Maxtal (aluminum) rims. The idea is to take advantage of each material�s best quality: 1.) The stiff/rigid properties of unidirectional carbon fiber both ensures all power applied to the hub is immediately transferred to the rim and the wheel will hold a perfect line when cornering at high speed. 2.) The Maxtal rim will endure the punishment delivered by rough roads and potholes. Ultimately this incredibly light wheelset is a fantastic choice for road racers who enjoy the performance qualities of carbon fiber and need the durability of Maxtal in the most crucial areas. Cyclists will also enjoy the extremely smooth QRM+ hubs and package features that include: a bearing adjustment tool, BR601 quick releases, spoke wrenches (rear wheel), wheel bags, and an integrated wheel magnet.
