Since storming Kona in 2006, Blue Seventy's pointzero3 racing skinsuit has helped countless competitors leave rivals in their wake. This innovative product maximizes performance during events too warm for wetsuits. How so? By creating a superslick surface that speeds water along, that's how. SCS coating, or Super Composite Skin, gives the pointzero3 a drag coefficient of .032 � that�s 50 times lower than skin and more than four times lower than other swim skins on the market. It�s got the feel of a wetsuit but is 100 percent legal to use in non-wetsuit races. The fit and styling have been developed from the world�s fastest triathlon wetsuit, Blue Seventy�s Helix, and features a double hoop of high stretch materials. This pliable band of Lycra in the pointzero3 mechanically decouples the arms from the rest of the suit. When you stretch into the stroke you are normally pulling against the nonflexible material of the suit. In the pointzero3, however, the Lycra bands work to �float� the arm so it doesn�t have to work against resistance. Don't just take our word for it. If it wasn't great, these guys wouldn't use it.
