2008 HED Disc Superlite

Product Overview
The lenticular shape of the HED disc is designed to smooth the turbulent air created by the rider, frame, and crosswinds. This reduces the pocket of turbulent drag behind the rear wheel and significantly reduces the amount of power required to go the same speed.

Employment
- Time Trials and Triathlons: A lenticular disc will reduce the amount of drag a rider experiences at a given speed when compared to a standard spoked wheel. When racing against the clock, this reduction in drag will save valuable time and energy. At only 1270g (tubular), the HED Disc Superlite is still capable of performing on a technical or hilly course.
