GIRO IONOS HELMET

The Giro IONOS Helmet is sculpted around 21 massive vents and a system of internal ventilation channels. Giro's wind tunnel testing shows that this internal ventilation thrusts 15% more cool air across the rider's head than their Atmos Helmet.

Giro also has made the IONOS lighter than the Atmos by utilizing lightweight composite materials and through their in-mold construction in a 4 piece shell. In-mold construction fuses the helmet�s outer shell with the impact-absorbing EPS liner. The two materials are fused together, and one is reinforced by the other. This �exoskeleton� allows IONOS to be lighter, more durable and more ventilated than traditional road helmets.

The IONOS also has the Roc Loc 4 adjuster on the back of the helmet for ease of proper sizing.
