Description

Fulcrum's Racing1 wheels sit at the top of the Fulcrum range of aluminum racing wheels. Engineered for competition at the highest levels of the sport, they are nevertheless perfect for century rides.

The 26 mm aluminium rim is extremely light yet strong in virture of a special "triple milling" process between each spoke, specifically, in those sections of the rim where it is less subjected to dynamic stresses. The peripheral mass of the wheel is thereby greatly reduced, which translates to a lower rolling weight.

In addition to all this, there are no spoke holes on the inside of the rim. This further reduces weight � as there is no need to use rim tape � and increases the torsional rigidity and vertical elasticity of the wheel.

The hubs are oversized and are fitted with adjustable Campagnolo bearings for maximum smoothness and ease of maintenance.

The spokes are aluminium with a gradual virtual deep-dish effect which improves aerodynamic penetration and reduces detrimental turbulence.
