Professional Cycling Team CSC The #1 ranked team in the world of professional cycling rides the SLC (both on the flats and in the mountains).
-2nd 2007 Giro de Italia. Young CSC rider, Andy Schleck, announced his arrival among the professional elites by taking 2^nd in the Giro. The SLC was Andy's weapon of choice in both the flat and mountain stages.
-1^st 2006 Tour de France Stage 13. CSC rider Jens Voigt took advantage of the SLC's aerodynamic efficiency and broke away from the peleton early in the stage and took the victory ahead of Oscar Perrero (eventual overall winner).
-1^st 2006 Amstel Gold. CSC rider, Frank Schleck broke away from the lead pack for a solo victory. He powered the SLC across a series of brutal hills that always determines the winner of this classic race.
-1^st 2005 Tour de France Stage 9. CSC rider Jens Voigt broke away from the pack early in the stage. His margin of victory over the peleton gave Jens the coveted yellow jersey as overall race leader.

Product Overview
Possibly the best value in the industry, the SLC is made to perform on all terrains. Among the lightest bikes in the Pro Peleton, the SLC truly distinguishes itself by employing aerodynamic tubing to slice through the wind. Features include:
- Smartwall/High Quality Carbon for Power Efficiency: Widely accepted as the creators of the most power efficient bikes in the world, Cervelo's specifically shaped high density carbon also eliminates vertical harshness, thus providing for a smoother ride and less fatigue. Extra carbon is inserted in areas that require added strength to maximize power transfer in the rear triangle (drivetrain) and across tubing susceptible to failure. Minimal carbon is used in areas designed to flex and absorb vibrations from the road. Of course, the quality of carbon that Cervelo uses is so high, that even minimum material easily passed every safety test imaginable.
- Aerodynamics: Uses the best airfoil shapes designed for bicycle speeds. These shapes are especially aggressive at the headtube, downtube, toptube, seatstays, and seatpost. Each is designed to efficiently direct airflow at that respective area of the frame.

SLC vs SLC-SL
- The SLC-SL is approx 200g lighter than the SLC (The SLC is still among the lightest in the Pro Peleton).
- The SLC-SL bottom bracket is slightly higher off the ground than the SLC. This provides additional pedal clearance in those tight turns.
