Product Overview
The P2 SL is Cervelo's performance aluminum triathlon/time trial model. The bike comes from a long line that dates back to 1996. P2 SL is still ahead of its time today while it continues to build on ten years improvements. Features Include:
- Aerodynamic Smartwall 2 Frame: The downtube, seattube, and seatpost all feature Cervelo's proprietary TrueAero aerodynamic shapes. Furthermore, by putting more material where it matters, the P2 SL offers great bottom bracket and torsional stiffness despite the narrow aerodynamic profile of its tubes.
- Rearwheel cutout: The seattube features a tight-fitting rearwheel cutout to further improve the aerodynamics. The frame has horizontal dropouts with set-screws to allow the rider to adjust the cutout gap depending on the size of tire used, and ensures that the airflow from the seattube to the rearwheel is as smooth as possible for tire sizes from 19-25mm.
- Internal Cabling: The best internal cable stop system available to smooth air flow across the frame.
- Adjustable Geometry: The flippable seatpost allows for an adjustment in seattube angle range of anywhere between 74-79 degrees so the rider can tailor the geometry to his/her specific desires.
- Component Package: The P2 SL wheels and components are designed for durability.

Test Review
+ The rear triangle (drive train area) is very stiff for maximum power transfer.
+ Excellent road feel and handling.
+ Easy to achieve a comfortable aero position (very adjustable and perfect geometry for most riders).
